Edit for voice, not just for errors
AI drafts are grammatically clean but tonally flat. Read your draft out loud and ask whether it sounds like a real person talking — or like a textbook.
Add contractions, varied sentence lengths, and concrete examples. These are the signals that separate human-quality writing from AI slop.
Cut the fluff
AI loves filler phrases: 'in today's fast-paced world', 'it is important to note', 'many people believe'. Cut every one of them.
If a sentence doesn't add information your reader can't get elsewhere, delete it.
Add your own experience
E-E-A-T — experience, expertise, authority, trust — is what Google rewards. Add your own screenshots, case studies, and opinions. AI cannot fake first-hand experience.
Use AI for the boring parts
Outlines, meta descriptions, FAQ schemas, social variants, and email subject lines are all perfect jobs for AI. Save your human time for the writing that requires judgment.
